About Us
Here at Cyrus LaRosche Design, creativity grows best when it is rooted in intention and a sense of wonder. As the founder, I approach design the way someone might explore a trail. I notice the details, trust the process, and let the path reveal itself. That same spirit has shaped my life, and it is the lens through which my story continues to unfold.
Graphic Design and Creative Experience
Design has been a steady part of my life, and studying graphic design at the Community College of Denver gave me the foundation to build a thoughtful, intentional practice. I learned how to shape ideas into visual systems, work with typography and layout, and create design that communicates with purpose.
Since then, I’ve developed brand identities, logos, websites, and a wide range of digital assets for clients across different industries. Collaborating with local marketing agencies has broadened the types of projects I take on and introduced me to a variety of creative teams, each with their own approach. Those experiences strengthened my ability to adapt, listen, and create work that fits the needs of each project.
My design style leans toward clean, modern visuals with a focus on balance and flow. I aim to create work that feels intuitive and easy to move through, guiding the viewer without unnecessary noise. Whether I’m building a brand system, designing a website, or creating supporting assets, I approach each project with clarity and intention.
I see design as both problem‑solving and storytelling. I enjoy translating ideas into visuals that communicate effectively and carry a sense of meaning. Curiosity and care guide every step of my process, from the first conversation to the final deliverable. I work collaboratively, communicate openly, and make sure each decision has a purpose so the experience feels calm, organized, and human. My goal is always to create something that feels like it was built with the client, not just for them.
What Our Clients Can Expect
Working with myself and my team is collaborative and straightforward. We take time to understand each client’s goals and personality, so the final work feels aligned with who they are. We share progress consistently and keep communication clear, making sure the process feels steady and predictable.
Beyond the deliverables, we aim to create an experience that feels calm and well‑structured. Clients can expect a mix of exploration and strategy, a space where questions are welcome, and a final result that reflects a shared vision.
How the Logo Took Shape
The CLD logo grew out of my interest in natural forms and simple geometry. The C and D create a circular shape that suggests the canopy of a tree, while a second outline of the C forms a subtle green leaf. The L sits at the center like a trunk, anchoring the composition. Gold and green were chosen for their connection to growth and the natural world, resulting in a mark that feels alive and closely tied to the influences behind the studio’s work.
Education and Nature Background
Before I moved into design, I spent several years working in outdoor education and early childhood education, two fields that taught me a lot about how people learn and connect with the world. At YMCA of the Rockies, I led classes for students from kindergarten through high school on topics like mountain formation, elk ecology, water systems, and orienteering. The work was active and immersive, built around games, movement, and hands-on activities that helped students understand their environment by experiencing it directly. I learned how to adapt lessons to different ages, learning styles, and energy levels, often adjusting plans in real time based on what was happening in the moment. Whether we were navigating trails, studying natural systems, or working through group challenges, the goal was always to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage exploration.
After my time in outdoor education, I spent five years in Reggio Emilia and Montessori programs with young children. These classrooms emphasized play and observation, showing me how naturally people learn when they are encouraged to explore at their own pace. That experience continues to shape how I think and approach design with clarity and intention.
If you’re looking for design that feels clear, grounded, and connected to the heart of your work, we’d love to collaborate. Our studio creates thoughtful, nature‑inspired visuals that support your goals and help your brand grow with intention.
The Future of Our Studio
Our studio continues to evolve as a place where design, storytelling, and creative partnership grow together. We are expanding the types of projects we take on and deepening collaborations with other creatives. we are also exploring new ways to bring harmony and intention to every project.
As we look ahead, we are energized by the possibility of experimenting with new mediums and refining our craft in ways that feel both grounded and adventurous. I imagine the studio developing like a living ecosystem, shaped by curiosity, steady growth, and a desire to create work that feels meaningful. We want clients to feel inspired the moment they step into the process, and we want collaborators to feel supported as we build work that balances artistry, strategy, and heart.
Things I Do in My Free Time
Outside of work, I stay active and inspired by moving through the world with a sense of play and exploration. I love scootering through the city and noticing how the landscape shifts from block to block. I spend time shooting photography, writing and performing music, traveling, cooking meals that feel nourishing, practicing yoga and mindfulness, playing badminton, and going to the gym. These moments help me reconnect with myself and remind me of the importance of staying curious and present.
I also spend a lot of time with my three cats, Augustus, Gracie, and Madame Francesca. Whether we are playing, exploring the outdoors together, or relaxing at home, they bring a sense of grounding and joy to my daily life. They remind me to slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the small moments that make a day feel meaningful.
The Soundtrack Behind My Work
Music is a constant companion while I work, shaping the energy of my studio the way weather shapes a landscape. Some days the room feels like a slow sunrise with warm, nostalgic sounds drifting in the background. Other days it feels electric and restless, full of grit, groove, and the kind of rhythm that pushes ideas forward before I even realize it.
The soundtrack shifts, but it always keeps me connected to something deeper. It reminds me of memory, movement, curiosity, and the feeling of finding yourself in a song you have heard many times before. It guides my process in a quiet way and often sparks ideas that eventually take shape in my work.
